Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 Laptop Review

Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 Review

Acer logo on no flashy red no LEDs no funny business there but that's ok for me.

- Quick Specs For Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4
Processor - 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U.
Display - 15.6" Full HD Widescreen Comfy View LED-backlit.
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 2GB GDDR5.
Memory - 8GB DDR4 Memory.
Hard Driver - 256GB SSD.
Battery - Up to 12-hours Battery Life.

- Design
This laptop is very nice. it has that sleek metallic look but obviously this is not metallic this is going to be a hard plastic.

- Display
a 15.6 inch full HD 1080p display LED backlit at this price's basically the best screen you're going to TN panel looks like a matte finish. Actually TN panel from straight looks really good. it's not bad as that it's not a terrible panel. the problem comes when we do the 15 angle that you get on the vertical, I'm sorry. yes, the vertical once we go 15 degrees everything washes out 15 degrees this way everything washes out for me.

- The right hand side
You've got your DVD drive, power charging port input, USB 2.0 port, microphone and headphone combo jack.

- The front hand side
You can find a full SD card slot and you are going to have your activity light and power or charging light.

- The Left hand side
You have two USB 3.0 ports, you're going to have a full HDMI port, a VGA port, awired Ethernet jack and have one USB 3.1.

- The bottom Laptop
You can find two speakers they are located on the bottom which is a weird placement for speakers but to be honest. I haven't had any problems with sound it doesn't blow me away but they're not terrible either if you want to access your extra drive bay and your RAM upgrades you just remove three screws and add 16 gigabytes of ram.

- Track panel
I haven't had any problems with this I like it it's very responsive.

- keyboard
It does a great job it's a backlit keyboard it is only one color it will activate when you type on it.
keyboard is ok if there's a little. I don't really like that backlit keyboard and tiny bit of flex in the middle of the keyboard but that doesn't bother me. I like the fact that it's at least accented with these lights for you to in darker environments.

- The wireless
I connected my 5 gigahertz Network. I was getting full speeds on a 50 up and 50 down at the house, there is no problems with getting all the speeds.

- Battery
It has a claimed 12 hour battery life. I do not expect it to last 12 hours I don't think that's a realistic claim but I would be surprised if you got less than 5 or 6 hours out of it out of light web browsing email social media use etc gaming it won't last as long but for general windows use I think 5 to 6 hours.

Battery is apparently not removable very easily so what you want to do is charge it up fully before we do anything with this or charge it up fully then run the battery down to almost nothing and then charge it again fully To do that three times and that's kind of to prep the battery for the long term that's what it recommends in the manual.

- Graphics Card
Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4 features is its Nvidia 940MX graphics card. Featuring 2 GB memory, this card is not the latest and greatest model in Nvidia's arsenal, but it elevates a fairly standard work machine into a pretty decent gaming rig. While you won't be able to run The Witcher III in 4K with the textures cranked up, I had plenty of fun with less demanding games like Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, Marvel Heroes and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition.

Test Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-57D4 Nvidia 940MX Sniper With Elite 3 - Diablo III - GTAV Games

That's a personal preference of mine. I've been very impressed with this laptop so far it's exceeded my expectations for the price of $580 check the links ...
